About The Founder

Hi, my name is Eric. I am a 16 year-old student currently studying in the UK. I am a keen traveler and explorer of new places. In addition to this, I love history and the study of economics in the real world. At the same time, I am an avid fan of Real Madrid, a soccer team based in Spain. These have all linked into one common theme: the love of exploring different cultures.

When I was ten, I moved to the UK from China and experienced completely different ways of life to what I had lived back in China. During my time in London, it almost seemed as if the world was turning at a slower pace, with a much more casual lifestyle. The racial mix further contributes to the unity of the city, as one whole community.

Having lived in London for three years, I recently moved to Ascot, a small village located 25 miles away from the capital. Upon my arrival, I experienced another radical cultural shift. The lifestyle there was much more simple, with the only entertainment being walking around local areas. Despite this, there is even more of a community spirit and even when encountering strangers, dialogue occurs as if we were lifelong friends.

Therefore, I have definitely felt that the experience of cultural shifts is extremely valuable and unique. Despite this, the majority of people don’t have the opportunity to enjoy this special phenomena due to both geographical and monetary restrictions. Through dialogue between cultures, one can experience this without needing to travel and sometimes even enhance their understanding of where they’re from themselves.
